Set up shared credentials
How an Admin adds a BigQuery, Snowflake, SFTP, or Azure Blob Storage integration on the Integrations tab and enters one credential for many channels.
When you supply data from BigQuery, Snowflake, SFTP, or Azure Blob Storage, you enter the credential one time on the Integrations tab. Each channel that arrives through that integration then uses the same credential, and you give only the location of its data.
You must be an Admin to add an integration or to change a credential.
How do you add an integration?
Section titled “How do you add an integration?”-
Open Data Center and select the Integrations tab.
-
Select Add integration.
-
Select the integration in the Integration field.
-
Select the channels that will arrive through the integration.
-
Select Add integration.
The integration shows in the table with the status Not connected. The channels show on the Channels tab.

The status of the integration changes to Connected. Next, open each channel of the integration and give the location of its data. See Connect a channel.
Which fields does each integration need?
Section titled “Which fields does each integration need?”| Integration | Credential type | Fields and access |
|---|---|---|
| BigQuery | Service account | Name and Service account JSON. The service account needs the roles BigQuery Data Viewer and BigQuery Job User. |
| Snowflake | Service account with a key pair | Name, Account identifier, Username, Private key (PEM), Private key passphrase, Warehouse, and Role. |
| SFTP | Private key or password | Name, Host, Port, Username, and Authentication. Authentication is Private key or Password. |
| Azure Blob Storage | Shared access signature | Name, SAS URL, Container, and SAS token. The token needs Read and List access. |
For BigQuery and Snowflake, you can paste the key or select Upload file to upload the key file.
What does Data Center test?
Section titled “What does Data Center test?”| Integration | What the test confirms |
|---|---|
| BigQuery | The service account signs in, has BigQuery Job User access, and the credential is stored. |
| Snowflake | The service account signs in, has access to the warehouse, and the credential is stored. |
| SFTP | Prescient connects and signs in, and the credential is stored. |
| Azure Blob Storage | Prescient has access to the container, and the credential is stored. |
How do you change or add a credential?
Section titled “How do you change or add a credential?”On the Integrations tab, select the menu of a connected integration, then select Manage credentials.
