Data Center reference
Connection statuses
Reference for each status badge of a channel in Data Center, the two tooltip lines that say who must act, and the fix messages.
This page lists the statuses of a connection in Data Center. A channel has one status at a time, and the Status column of the Channels tab shows it. The Status filter lists only the statuses that the channels of the workspace have now.
Statuses
Section titled “Statuses”| Status | Notes |
|---|---|
| Connected | The channel has a live connection. |
| Syncing | Shows after Sync now in the Manage menu of a hosted connect card. The status counts as a live connection. |
| Backfilling | Shows after Re-sync all history in the Manage menu of a hosted connect card. The status counts as a live connection. |
| Validating | The status counts as a live connection. |
| Needs attention | The connection stopped syncing. Point at the badge to see who must act. |
| Paused | Shows after Pause in the Manage menu of a hosted connect card. The status does not count as a live connection. To start the syncs again, an Admin selects Resume in the same menu. |
| Not connected | The channel is in your list and has no connection. The badge has a tooltip only when a setup did not finish. |
