# Introduction

> A starting page for the Prescient AI docs, with a path for new readers, a card for each product area, and the ways to read the docs with an AI tool.

Prescient AI is a marketing mix modeling (MMM) platform. These docs explain how to use the platform, one product area at a time. Each product area has an overview, step-by-step guides, reference pages, and concept pages.

The docs cover every product area of the app: Prescient AI, Library, Model Center, Data Center, Attribution, Media Forecaster, and your account and settings.

> **Start here:**
>
> 1. Read [How Prescient AI is organized](https://docs.prescientai.com/getting-started) for a map of the product areas.
> 2. If your workspace is new, read [Your first days](https://docs.prescientai.com/getting-started/your-first-days) for the stages of onboarding.
> 3. Follow the lesson [Build your first plan](https://docs.prescientai.com/media-forecaster/your-first-plan). It takes you through one plan from start to finish.

## Product areas

[Prescient AI](https://docs.prescientai.com/prescient-ai): Start each day with the state of your data, the budget recommendation of the day, and a chat that answers questions about your marketing.

[Library](https://docs.prescientai.com/library): Keep a conversation with Prescient AI, share it with your team, export it as a PDF, and track a plan to its goal.

[Model Center](https://docs.prescientai.com/model-center): Check how accurate each of your marketing mix models is, how closely it follows your reported results, and how current it is.

[Data Center](https://docs.prescientai.com/data-center): Add the channels that you measure, connect their data, check the status and the dates of each connection, and label campaigns with tactics.

[Attribution](https://docs.prescientai.com/attribution): See how much of an outcome your models attribute to each channel, tactic, and campaign, next to the figures that your ad platforms report.

[Media Forecaster](https://docs.prescientai.com/media-forecaster): Build a plan that recommends how to split a marketing budget across channels, tactics, and campaigns to reach one goal.

[Account and settings](https://docs.prescientai.com/account): Sign in, invite teammates and set their roles, and manage the display currency, the API keys, the billing, and your cookie settings.

## Start with one task

Each guide covers one task. These are good first guides for each area.

- **Prescient AI**: [Ask a question](https://docs.prescientai.com/prescient-ai/ask-a-question) and [Build the recommended plan](https://docs.prescientai.com/prescient-ai/build-the-recommended-plan).
- **Library**: [Save a conversation](https://docs.prescientai.com/library/save-a-conversation) and [Track a goal](https://docs.prescientai.com/library/track-a-goal).
- **Model Center**: [Check model accuracy](https://docs.prescientai.com/model-center/check-model-accuracy) and [Compare two configs](https://docs.prescientai.com/model-center/compare-two-configs).
- **Data Center**: [Connect a channel](https://docs.prescientai.com/data-center/connect-a-channel) and [Label campaigns with tactics](https://docs.prescientai.com/data-center/label-campaigns-with-tactics).
- **Attribution**: [Choose what the page shows](https://docs.prescientai.com/attribution/choose-what-the-page-shows) and [Compare channels, tactics, and campaigns](https://docs.prescientai.com/attribution/compare-channels-tactics-and-campaigns).
- **Media Forecaster**: [Create and run a plan](https://docs.prescientai.com/media-forecaster/create-a-plan) and [Read plan results](https://docs.prescientai.com/media-forecaster/read-plan-results).
- **Account and settings**: [Sign in](https://docs.prescientai.com/account/sign-in) and [Manage members](https://docs.prescientai.com/account/manage-members).

In each area, the concept pages explain the ideas behind the figures. The [Reference](https://docs.prescientai.com/reference) tab has the pages with the exact labels, options, limits, and messages of each screen. For the words that the docs and the product use, see the [Glossary](https://docs.prescientai.com/reference/glossary).

## What is not here yet

Two kinds of page are not in these docs yet.

- **Setup guides for each channel.** The Data Center pages explain how to add and connect a channel for each connection method. A page for each ad platform, store, and retailer is not written yet. The setup dialog of each channel in Data Center has the instructions for that channel. The [earlier help center](https://help.prescientai.com/docs/41-connector-setup) also has a page for each platform. If an earlier page and the setup dialog differ, follow the dialog.
- **Methodology.** The docs explain the figures that the product shows and quote the definitions that the product gives. Pages that explain how the models work are not written yet.

## Use the docs with AI tools

Each page of these docs is also available as Markdown, so an AI tool can read the page without the page layout.

- **Copy page**: the menu next to each page title copies the page as Markdown. The same menu opens the page in ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity.
- _Markdown pages_: add `.md` to the address of a page to get the page as Markdown. The home page is at `/index.md`.
- _Page index_: [`/llms.txt`](https://docs.prescientai.com/llms.txt) lists each page with a description. [`/llms-full.txt`](https://docs.prescientai.com/llms-full.txt) contains all the pages in one file.
- _Agent skill_: [`/skill.md`](https://docs.prescientai.com/skill.md) tells an AI agent what the docs cover and how to read the docs.
- _MCP server_: connect an AI tool to `https://docs.prescientai.com/mcp` to search the docs and read pages. The **Copy page** menu has the install command and the links for Cursor and VS Code.
