# How Prescient AI is organized

> A map of the product areas in the order of the app sidebar, what each area is for, how the areas depend on each other, and where the settings are.

Prescient AI has six product areas. The sidebar of the app lists them in three groups, and two more pages, **Settings** and **Account**, open from the top bar. This page tells you what each area is for and where to read about it.

## Which areas does the sidebar show?

The sidebar lists the areas from top to bottom in this order. Only the third group has a heading, **Marketing**.

| Area | Place in the sidebar | What the area holds |
| -------------------- | ----------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Prescient AI** | First group | The home screen and the chat. The page shows the state of your data, the budget recommendation of the day, and a message box for your questions. |
| **Library** | First group, below **Prescient AI** | The conversations with Prescient AI that you and your team saved. |
| **Model Center** | Second group | How accurate each of your marketing mix models is, and how current it is. |
| **Data Center** | Second group | The channels that you measure, their connections, and the tactic of each campaign. |
| **Attribution** | **Marketing** group | How much of an outcome your models attribute to each channel, tactic, and campaign, next to the reported figures. |
| **Media Forecaster** | **Marketing** group | Plans that recommend how to split a budget to reach one goal. |

The link **Help Center** is at the bottom of the sidebar.

## How do the areas depend on each other?

Each area uses the work of the one before it. Read the list from top to bottom to see where a figure comes from.

1. **Data Center** holds your channels and their data. You connect each channel there, and you label campaigns with tactics there.
2. Your Prescient team builds your marketing mix models from that data. **Model Center** shows each model, how accurate it is, and the last day that it has results for.
3. **Attribution** shows what the models attribute to each channel, tactic, and campaign, next to the figures that your sources report.
4. **Media Forecaster** uses the same models to forecast a budget split and to recommend a better one.
5. **Prescient AI** answers questions about all of this in a chat, and shows the budget recommendation of the day. **Library** keeps the conversations that you save.

> **If a figure looks out of date:** Start at the top of the list. A channel that stopped sending data in Data Center affects each area below it. See [Check status and data freshness](https://docs.prescientai.com/data-center/check-status-and-data-freshness).

## Where are the settings?

The settings are not in the sidebar. Two controls in the top bar open them.

| Control | What it does |
| ------------ | ---------------------------- |
| **Settings** | Opens the **Settings** page. |

| Item of the avatar menu | What it does |
| ----------------------- | --------------------------- |
| **Account** | Opens the **Account** page. |
| **Log out** | Signs you out. |

**Settings** holds the things that belong to your workspace: the display currency, the members, the API keys, and the billing. **Account** shows your own name and email, and your cookie settings. See [Account and settings](https://docs.prescientai.com/account).
