# Save and share a view

> How to save Attribution table columns and filters as a view, apply a view, share a view with your workspace, and delete a view.

A view saves the columns of the **Performance Table**, the order of the columns, and the active filters. Apply a view to return to the same setup later, or share a view so that your workspace sees the same setup.

## How do you save a view?

1. Set the columns of the **Performance Table** and the filters that you want.

2. Select **Views** in the filter bar.

3. Select **Save as new view…**.

4. Type a name in **View name**.

5. To share the view with your workspace, turn off **Only visible to me**.

A new view is private unless you turn the switch off.

6. Select **Save view**.

The **Views** button then shows the name of the view.

## How do you apply a view?

Select **Views** and select a view. **My Views** lists the views that you saved. **Shared Views** lists the views that other people in your workspace shared.

The menu lists only the views of the selected target. If you change the target, the page exits the applied view.

## How do you change a view?

1. Apply the view.

2. Change the columns or the filters.

The **Views** button adds **(edited)** to the name of the view after a change to the columns, the models, the channels, or a metric rule.

3. Select **Views**, then select **Save view**.

**Save view** is available only while the button shows **(edited)**. A change to only a tactic filter or a campaign name or ID rule does not add **(edited)**. To keep such a change, select **Save as new view…**.

**Save view** is available only for a view that you own. To keep your changes to a view of a different person, select **Save as new view…**.

To stop the use of a view, select **Views**, then **Exit view**. The page returns to the columns and filters that it had before you applied the view.

## How do you share or delete a view?

In the **Views** menu, each view that you own has a control for its visibility and a delete button.

- Select the visibility control to share the view with your workspace or to make the view private.
- Select the delete button, then select **Delete view**.

> **Caution:** If you delete a shared view, the view is removed for everyone in your workspace. You cannot undo a delete.

## What does a view save?

| Rule | Value |
| --------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Saved content | A view saves the table columns, the column order, the column widths, and the active filters: target, models, channels, tactics, campaign rules, and metric rules. |
| Not saved | A view does not save the date range, the comparison period, or the configuration that is selected for a model. |
| Target | A view belongs to one target. The **Views** menu lists only the views of the selected target. A change of target exits the applied view. |
| Default visibility | A new view is private. |
| Who can change a view | Only the owner of a view can save changes to the view, change its visibility, or delete the view. |
